Hi! My name is Mrs. Uhlendorff and this year I co-teach in 4th and 5th grade classrooms at Twin Ridge. This is my fifth year teaching at TRES and I am so happy to be teaching a such a fabulous school. In the past three years, I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade special education, with mainly a focus on 4th and 5th grades.
I am originally from western New York near Lake Erie. I attended SUNY Geneseo for my undergraduate degree in education with a dual major in Elementary Education and Special Education. I am New York and Maryland state certified to teach both general education and special education. I am currently attending Hood College in Frederick to pursue my Master's degree in Reading Specialist. I enjoy using what I learn in my classes with my students on a daily basis.
In my free time I love to spend time with my husband and our 2 year old son. We live in Frederick and love to spend the weekends downtown in antique shops and at the park. I also love to read, spend time with my family in New York and scrapbook.
